Are You Looking For a Career As a Dental Assistant?
As dental practices grow, more dental assistants will be needed. The link of oral health to general health will continue to grow demand for preventive dental services for patients. The Bureau of Labor statistics expects Dentists will continue to hire dental assistants to perform additional routine tasks and duties as dentists now devote more of their time to complex patient care procedures. I wanted to see the open road, I wanted to get into the experience, I wanted to see different places, different areas of the country.
Before I started school I was living with my parents and had no car and I was working three jobs. I now have my own car, I moved into my first place in December and I am able to support myself on my own.
I usually worked around with my hands doing things around the house, carpentry, home improvement, things of that nature. It wasn’t until I actually got involved in the program that I actually focused in on HVAC as something that I can actually make into a career.
I like what I do because it is challenging. It keeps me focused of the goal of what I actually went to school to learn - HVAC.
